The Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has elected CA. Aniket Sunil Talati as the President and CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal as the Vice President of ICAI for one year commencing on 12 February 2023.

CA. Aniket Talati is a Director of ICAI Accounting Research Foundation, Indian Institute of Insolvency Professionals of ICAI, and Extensible Business Reporting Language India, and a member of various other Committees, Boards and Directorates of ICAI. He leads Digital Transformation in ICAI and is also a Technical Advisor to the ICAI member on the IFAC Professional Accountants in Business Advisory Group and the ICAI member on the IFAC Board.

CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal is a practicing Chartered Accountant with 24 years of experience. As Chairman of the Ethical Standard Board of ICAI in 2019, he played a key role in the revision of the Code of Ethics. He was also the Chairman of the ICAI Committee for Members in Industry and Business & Tax and the ICA Audit Quality Review Board where he led major refinements in processes.
