8th WAEMU Congress of Accountants – Cotonou 2026
The Benin Professional Accountants Organisation (OECCA-BÉNIN) is pleased to announce the 8th WAEMU Congress of Accountants, which will take place on October 21 and 22, 2026, in Cotonou (Republic of Benin).
Under the theme: “ THE CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT: GUARDIAN OF TRANSPARENCY AND FINANCIAL SOVEREIGNTY IN THE WAEMU REGION," this event will bring together certified public accountants, public policymakers, business leaders, academics, technical and financial partners, as well as all stakeholders involved in financial governance and economic development in the WAEMU region.
The Congress will provide an ideal setting for reflection, the exchange of experiences, networking, and the sharing of best practices regarding the challenges of governance, digital transformation, financial transparency, sustainability, and innovation.
Registration for the Congress is available online via the official platform. Participants will also find a list of partner hotels or those located near the Congress venue, along with their contact information, so they can make reservations directly. Any preferential rates that may be negotiated with certain establishments will be posted on the platform as soon as they are finalized.
